History
Laid out in 1868 as Coxtown/Crowstown, Fleetwood incorporated in 1873 and later gained national name recognition through Fleetwood Metal Body, the luxury coachbuilder whose name lived on in the Cadillac Fleetwood. The borough marked its 150th year in 2023.
